14kt White Gold Oval Tanzanite Floral Filigree Wide Band Ring w/28 diamonds, Size 7.25, Signed JCR (John C. Rinker)
Spectacular 14kt White Gold Tanzanite & Diamond Cigar Band Ring, Size 7.25. Weight is 5.69 grams. Signed JCR for John C. Rinker. The Tanzanite is an appx. 1.33ctw Oval Stone in a lavender shade. It is prong set higher than the cigar band type style ring that has a floral filigree cut-out band with 26 small diamonds. The band is 12 mm at the top and it tapers down to 3.5mm at the back. It is signed 14kt and JCR on the inside of the band. The setting of the ring has a front and back border that is raised from the center area and there are diamonds that are set in the raised band. There are 9 stones in the front and 9 in the back and five on each side of the stone in the floral design. This is in like new condition and was not an inexpensive ring when purchased. The consignor indicated the price of this ring was quite steep and it is estimated that the ring is in excess of $1,500.00 conservatively, possibly quite more. JCR, John C. Rinker, is a reputable designer and provides quality jewelry. This came from the Peter Suchy Jewelers site.

From the internet:
The gems associated with John C. Rinker are some of the best-kept secrets in the trade. A master goldsmith by training and profession, Rinker has been in the jewelry business for almost four decades now. He remains in the Baltimore area, where he has built up a loyal clientele.
In the past, Rinker specialized in the design of unique pieces for Dahne and Weinstein. Sadly, this outlet closed its doors. While he gave them two decades of his expertise and impressive artistic ability, he did not hesitate to sign on with Heirloom Jewels as an antique restorer and designer.
Tanzanite is the blue/violet variety of the mineral zoisite (a calcium aluminium hydroxyl Sorosilicate) belonging to the epidote group. It was discovered in the Mererani Hills of Manyara Region in Northern Tanzania in 1967, near the city of Arusha and Mount Kilimanjaro.
International priority by location (so that it can be tracked/insured). Additional jewelry purchases will be shipped at no additional shipping charge. Shipping is at the expense of the buyer.
Photos are magnified but not enhanced.
Please note that most of my photos are taken at 10X magnification. This shows any blemishes much more magnified than they really are.
I keep great notes about each item and can answer most questions quickly, but I do not store fine jewelry on premises, so answers about specific measurements may take some time as I arrange to inspect the piece again.

Given the number of different items I carry it is hard to know what combination of items can be purchased to pre-plan the shipping, so just email me and we will work it out to save you shipping charges whenever possible.
